40K Assassins
September 12 - 9:30 AM
Hit Point Hobbies hosts "Assassins" a Warhammer 40K Tournament. This special event will encompass several elements of the hobby including painting skills as well as gameplay mastery.

Entry fee will be $10 per player. All entry fees will go toward prize support, divided amongst the top three winners.

The first place winner of the tournament will receive an Assassins trophy as well as 50% of the entry fees in store credit along with his or her choice of a Games Workshop 40K assassin miniature (Cullexus, Callidus, Eversore, Vindicare).

2nd place will receive 50% of the remaining entry fee pot in store credit as well as an assassin model.

3rd Place will receive the remaining entry fee pot in store credit.

Tournament armies do not have to be painted but there will also be a seperate compeition for the best painted army, with the winner receiving an assassin model.

There will be an additional Assassins Trophy for the player who kills the most HQ choices of their opponent during tournament play.

In addition to the tournament there will be a 25 minute painting competition. Entry fee $3. Each player will be give a random preassembled and primed 40k miniature and have 25 minutes to paint it to their best ability. Paints will be provided but participants must bring their own brushes. Top Prize is an assassin model.

Warhammer Fantasy Battles Battalion Beatdown! Tournament
October 16 - 9:00 AM
Warhammer Battalion Beatdown Special Events and Tournament!

Whether you are a new player looking to break into Warhammer Fantasy Battles or a veteran looking to hone your skills, the Battalion Beatdown is right for everyone. Each participant will the hands-on instruction over four sessions on modeling, painting and tactics for their chosen army, as well as entry into the final showdown where players square off with their battalion contents to see who takes home the spoils of victory!

On Sept. 18th, 25th and October 2nd, and 9th, participants will be able to attend a hobby clinic running from 12-6pm. Here they will learn to assemble, prime, paint and base their models as well as learn to play Warhammer Fantasy Battles 8th Edition. Expirenced modelers will be on hand to demonstrate the basics and give helpfull advice while helping veteran players hone their skills with the 8th edition rules.

The tournament will be held on October 16th starting at 10am and will consist of three 60 minute rounds including a 30min lunch break.

Prizes will include:

1st Place - $50 store credit and Purity Seal Award

2nd Place - $25 Store Credit

3rd Place - $10 Store Credit

Best Painter - $20 store credit, "Golden Warboss Trophy"
