For over 100 years, people have asked themselves, "If Sitting Bull and Julius Caesar got in a fight, who would win?"
Now you can know, play Anachronism and find out.
Anachronism is a fast paced game where each player chooses a historical figure and they face each other in a gladiator-type battle to the death. The two warriors do not have to be from the same culture or time frame, making it all the more fun.

To play, players must buy warrior packs. Warrior packs contain 5 cards, one warrior and 4 support cards. A support card may represent a weapon, armor, a house, a code of conduct, or a deity the warrior follows. Both the support cards and the warrior cards have traits that give the warriors advantages on the battlefield. What makes the game truly an anachronism is that you can mix and match warrior and support cards from different time periods and cultures. For example, you can give Vlad the Impaler ninja throwing stars, or you can give Blackbeard the sword Excalibur.
Anachronism produced in partnership with the History Channel. All of the Warrior Packs are based off of historical figures from various cultures around the world. The cultures covered are Greek, Roman, British, germanic, Native American, Japanese, Chine ese, Az tech, Irish, Turkish and many more.

Anachronism is not a collectable game, meaning that you can see the warrior your purchase. The cards are not in randomized packs.
